In KS4 there are three types of classes: Extended Plus, Extended and Core. They all cover the same curriculum in Y10 although Extended Plus class will be exposed to more challenging problems and the Core class will spend longer consolidating key skills.

All classes prepare for 0607 Cambridge Mathematics IGCSE in Y10. In Y11 some students will end up taking the 0580 Cambridge Mathematics IGCSE instead since it's a course better suited for students who find mathematics challenging.

Our most able learners – Extended Plus class - covers also the Additional 0606 Cambridge Mathematics IGCSE syllabus that allows for excellent preparation for the demanding IB Analysis and Approaches Higher level course.
